About us

Through our products we aim to embody each season. Encapsulating the ever changing landscape, celebrating its produce.

The Story

Inspired by a passion for organic produce, Fleurs d’hiver brings you a range of small batch, unique hand made teas. Gathered from artisan growers, dried herbs and flowers are encased in a golden disk of a honey caramel.

When submerged in warm water the honey melts, the plants release and infuse to create a truly unique experience.

An ode to the harmonious relationship between honey and flowers. Treat yourself, or a loved one, to a moment in time to appreciate what the earth has to offer. What natural produce can do for your mind and soul.

The Founder

I’m Charlotte, the founder of Fleurs d’hiver.

While studying design at ECAL in Switzerland I started learning about wellbeing and alternative medicine. Through my fascination for holistic practices I created useful, poetic and comforting products.

On my journey I met an herbalist who’s ethos spoke to me. They were dedicated to promoting the health benefits of it’s local produce, primarily honey and plants, and how in combining these you reap the best rewards. It was then that Fleurs d’hiver was born.

Herbal teas that are as beautiful as they are enriching. Teas that tells a story when you prepare and drink them.

The Suppliers

Every blend of plants is unique and creative. Floral notes rub shoulders with sweet, delicately laced with acidity to produce a flavourful, multi-sensory experience.

Committed to a responsible production method, we work in short circuits with French and English producers. The flowers and plants come from crops with certified organic designations (or plots undergoing organic conversion) and wild pickings/foraging.

The honey comes from French and English hives concerned about the quality of life of the bees.

Preserved with a minimum of ingredients, our plants look just picked and maintain their beauty with ease.

The Making

The manufacture is artisanal and designed in small series to order in England and France. It requires know-how and a unique and original recipe.

Preservation: This product should be stored in a dry place, away from humidity and heat. It is recommended not to expose it to temperatures above 25°C.
They are to be consumed preferably within 2 years after their manufacture.

The Packaging

It has been designed so that it is fully recyclable and eco- responsible.

Our labels recycle residues from the processing of sugar cane. It is a biodegradable and compostable paper that does not use trees. The adhesive is also biodegradable.

The plastic that protects the infusion is made of polypropylene, a recyclable plastic that can be thrown into the recycling, just like the greaseproof paper circle and the beech wooden stick.
